The SRV Series Brass Intelligent Balance Valve integrates a regulating valve, intelligent actuator and multiple sensing capabilities into one compact solution for HVAC water systems and heating systems. It is designed to regulate water flow and support accurate control of temperature, pressure, differential pressure, flow and energy according to system requirements.
With RS-485 communication, programmable control modes, automatic valve adjustment and optional Bluetooth operation, the SRV Series provides an integrated solution for intelligent water balancing and HVAC system control.
Unlike a conventional regulating valve, the SRV Series combines measurement, control and valve adjustment within one intelligent valve assembly. This allows the valve to respond to changing system conditions rather than relying only on a fixed valve position.
The system can work with real-time values from temperature, pressure and flow sensors and automatically adjust the valve opening according to the selected control strategy.
The SRV Series combines the brass regulating valve body, intelligent actuator and sensing functions into an integrated assembly. This simplifies the structure of the control system and provides a centralized solution for water-side HVAC regulation.
The actuator can automatically adjust the valve opening according to the selected control mode and received measurement values. This supports more accurate regulation of water flow and system operating conditions.
The control system can use real-time information such as return temperature, differential temperature, pressure, differential pressure and flow to determine the required valve position.
The SRV Series can be used in central air conditioning systems and heating systems where automatic water-side regulation is required.
The actuator can also automatically identify cooling or heating operation according to the water inlet temperature setting.
The SRV Series supports multiple programmable control modes. Only one control mode can be selected at a time, allowing the valve to be configured according to the specific requirements of the HVAC water system.
The valve can regulate water flow according to the return water temperature, making it suitable for applications where return temperature is an important control parameter.
In differential temperature control mode, the system uses the temperature difference between relevant water-side points to determine the required valve adjustment.
This can help maintain the target temperature difference in heating or cooling applications.
The valve can regulate its opening according to the measured system pressure, helping maintain the required pressure condition within the controlled water circuit.
For systems where the pressure difference across the circuit is important, the SRV Series can use differential pressure control as the regulation strategy.
The valve can adjust its opening according to the required water flow rate, making it suitable for HVAC applications that require controlled and stable water flow.
The energy control mode allows the valve to regulate the water-side system according to an energy control strategy, supporting applications where energy-related operating conditions are part of the control requirements.
The SRV Series is designed for integration with centralized HVAC control and building automation systems.
The valve can receive control signals from PLC, DDC and other controllers, allowing it to become part of a larger HVAC or building automation system.
The intelligent actuator supports RS-485 communication, providing a digital interface for connection with compatible control systems.
Depending on the configured communication system, the actuator supports Modbus and M-Bus communication protocols for data exchange and system integration.
Through the communication interface and configured control logic, the valve can perform automatic opening adjustment based on real-time operating conditions.
This makes the SRV Series suitable for projects requiring intelligent water-side control rather than simple on/off valve operation.
The SRV Series actuator combines automatic control with practical commissioning and maintenance functions.
The actuator provides an IP67 protection rating, with IP68 available as a customizable option.
The high protection level helps the actuator operate reliably in demanding HVAC installation environments.
The valve uses a 90° angular stroke for opening and closing. The actuator provides a rated operating time of approximately 20 seconds under no load, supporting responsive valve adjustment.
Manual operation is available when required for commissioning, maintenance or temporary local adjustment.
Optional Bluetooth communication allows the valve to be monitored through an Android mobile application.
This provides a convenient option for local commissioning, monitoring and adjustment without relying entirely on the central control system.
The actuator supports automatic valve status detection and incorporates an anti-seize design, helping maintain reliable valve operation during long-term use.
The SRV Series uses a brass valve body designed for water-side HVAC applications.
The valve body is rated at PN16 nominal pressure, making it suitable for compatible HVAC water circuits within the specified operating conditions.
The valve uses an equal percentage flow characteristic, providing a suitable regulation profile for modulating HVAC water flow.
An adjustable ratio of 100:1 provides a broad regulation range for applications requiring precise water flow adjustment.
The valve body is designed for no visible leakage under the specified test conditions.
The valve body and stem use brass, while the valve seat uses PTFE + graphite and the O-ring sealing element uses EPDM.
This material combination is designed for compatible hot and chilled water applications.
The SRV Series is designed for use with compatible HVAC water-side media, including hot water, chilled water and ethylene glycol aqueous solutions within the specified concentration and operating conditions.
Before selection, the medium temperature, pressure, glycol concentration and other operating parameters should be checked against the specifications of the selected valve model.
The SRV Series can be integrated into an HVAC control loop to continuously respond to changing water-side conditions.
Sensors → Real-Time Measurement → Intelligent Actuator → Valve Position Adjustment → HVAC Water Regulation
The controller or actuator receives the relevant measurement information, compares the real-time value with the required control condition, and adjusts the valve opening accordingly.
This integrated approach allows one valve assembly to participate in temperature, pressure, flow and energy control without requiring separate regulation logic for every operating condition.

The SRV Series is intended for applications where automatic water-side regulation and intelligent balancing are required.
The valve can be installed in compatible central air conditioning water systems to regulate water flow according to temperature, pressure, flow or other selected control parameters.
For compatible chilled water circuits, the SRV Series can provide modulating water flow control based on the selected operating strategy.
The valve can be used in heating water systems where return temperature, differential temperature, flow or pressure needs to be controlled.
The SRV Series can be applied to suitable water circuits serving HVAC terminal equipment where accurate flow regulation is required.
Through RS-485, Modbus or M-Bus communication, the valve can be connected with compatible building automation and HVAC control systems for centralized monitoring and control.
A conventional valve mainly provides mechanical regulation, while an intelligent balancing valve can combine sensing information, control logic and automatic valve adjustment.
The SRV Series is designed to provide:
This makes the SRV Series suitable for projects that require more precise and responsive HVAC water balancing and regulation.
The SRV Series should be installed according to the specified water flow direction, mounting position and HVAC system design.
The valve body is designed for installation on the return water side. The actuator and electrical connections should be installed according to the manufacturer's installation requirements.
Refer to the installation diagram and product documentation for detailed installation dimensions, wiring and commissioning instructions.

Before selecting an SRV Series valve, consider the required control mode, water medium, operating pressure, temperature, flow requirements, communication interface and valve connection specifications.
For projects requiring centralized integration, RS-485 with Modbus or M-Bus can be selected according to the control system.
For projects requiring local commissioning or monitoring, the optional Bluetooth and Android APP functions provide an additional operation method.
For demanding installation environments, the standard IP67 actuator protection can be upgraded to IP68 where applicable.
